SRE (Primary) Coordinator & Teacher
The Wagga Wagga Board is looking for an SRE Coordinator/Teacher to work three days per week at various schools commencing term three 2021. The days of work are flexible, and the breakdown is as follows:
Approximately three days coordinating and teaching the Primary SRE ministry in the city. This includes communicating with our local primary schools, developing partnerships with local churches, coordinating our approximate 30 volunteer teachers, and recruiting and training future volunteers. It is anticipated that this would involve one day coordination and two days of face to face teaching.
The successful applicant will have a current Working With Children Check number, have completed a church-based Child Protection Training course in the last 3 years, adhere to the Nicene Creed and Statement of Faith (found on the Application Form linked below) and hold or be willing to study towards, a Diploma in Theology. To teach SRE, you must be authorised to teach SRE by a Department of Education approved SRE Provider.
